The UEFA Executive Committee this afternoon took several decisions regarding the regulations, format, calendar and venues for a variety of UEFA club competitions including the UEFA Champions League 2020/21.
In order to achieve the necessary separation with the UEFA Champions League 2019/20 final phase and the UEFA Champions League 2020/21 initial phase, it has been decided that the qualifying rounds will be played in single legs instead of the usual home and away knock out ties.
Furthermore, the draw will determine which club will play the single leg in their stadium.
Floriana FC will enter the competition in the First Qualifying Round on the 18th or 19th August 2020.
The UEFA Executive Committee will meet again tomorrow to discuss further matters as announced in previous days.
